  • Three "applications of DA" presentations
  • A degree or diploma in an IT-related field
  • Active involvement on Disciplined Agile discussion forum/blog

Step #2: Pass the CDAC Test

The test is 50 multiple-answer questions based solely on material found in the books Choose Your WoW! & Disciplined Agile for Executives and in the CDAC workshop. Having said that, you will need to do more than simply regurgitate the content of the book to pass the test. The test is comprehensive. If you don't pass the test the first time, the retest fee is $150 USD + applicable tax. Please see How to Pass the Test.

For scheduled dates, please click Find Training.

Step #3: Send Us Your References

DA Admin will receive notification you have passed your test.  Within 5 business days you will received a reference application to fill out and return. When your 2 references are received and reviewed, you will be scheduled for your peer interviews.

If you haven't already done so, please update your membership profile to indicate your agile experience, references, and any other pertinent information.  Your profile information will be validated by us within a few days to determine whether you meet the criteria for Certified Disciplined Agile Coach.

Step #4: Peer Interviews

The most important aspect of the CDAC application process are the Coaching Review Peer interviews.  You will be interviewed by several existing CDAC's about your agile and lean experiences and about how you approach coaching situations. These interviews will likely be done virtually, although if you happen to live near an existing CDAC then the interview may be face-to-face.
